Pilates in Astoria, Queens: Private Sessions, Reformer & Mat Classes

Perfect Posture Pilates is a Pilates studio in Astoria, Queens, with two locations on 30th Avenue. We teach the classical Pilates method and its philosophy, while also integrating current functional movement training and therapeutic techniques. Our teachers undergo extensive training in anatomy, biomechanics and movement science to ensure you receive the highest quality instruction. We specialize in Pilates designed to strengthen, align and restore your body, so you move with greater ease and feel amazing!

Private Pilates sessions are the heart of our studio. Our private lessons use all of the Pilates apparatus, including the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Ladder Barrel. Drawing on a deep understanding of movement science, our teachers design a program around each client’s circumstances, fitness level and age. We also offer small-group Reformer classes limited to six people, so each client gets more individual attention. In addition, Studio 1 offers small-group Mat classes of no more than eight people, so each client receives proper guidance while moving through the Pilates Mat repertoire.

Many clients come to us for private sessions to address specific conditions such as scoliosis and osteoporosis, to recover from an injury, or to manage chronic back or neck pain. We also offer a safe workout program for prenatal and postpartum clients. Others simply want to move without tension. Our thoughtful hands-on approach supports both physical and mental well-being and stays true to Joseph Pilates’ original principles.
