Why do I practice Pilates? 🌷
I first started Pilates simply as a form of exercise, but I quickly fell in love with it, and it became a passion. It was more than just exercise for me—it helped me build a deeper connection between my body and mind. Unlike other workouts that focus mainly on intensity, Pilates emphasizes awareness, control, and quality of movement. Through this practice, I learned to understand my body better and move with greater intention, which is why Pilates continues to be such a meaningful part of my life. Also, my mom has degenerative arthritis in her knees. While I was practicing, I truly believed that Pilates could help her. Even though I’m not a doctor and I can’t cure the condition, I believe I can support her for the rest of my life by helping prevent her symptoms from getting worse and allowing her to live more comfortably. That belief made me want to study even more.
Why do I teach Pilates? 🌷
I teach Pilates because I want people to feel more connected to their bodies, to care for both their body and mind, and to find a moment of balance and self-love in today’s fast-paced world. My goal is to help individuals by understanding their unique needs and goals, and supporting them through tailored practice.
What to expect from my private sessions and group classes? 🌷
Whether it’s a private session or a group class, I strive to give the same level of attention and care to every individual in the room. I carefully observe each person’s body and movement, and I guide everyone in a way that is thoughtful, intentional, and respectful of their abilities. I believe that understanding one’s unique body is of the utmost importance. In private sessions, I create a personalized program based on each individual’s body, goals, and needs. This allows us to focus more deeply on specific concerns, injuries, movement patterns, or long-term goals at a pace that feels right for you. Private sessions also provide a safe space to ask questions, build confidence, and develop a stronger awareness of how your body moves and responds. My group classes are not about using heavier springs or proving strength. They are about moving with awareness, paying attention to details, and truly learning about your own body. I emphasize breathing, functional movement, proper alignment, and posture.
